A public hearing will be held prior to a regularly scheduled Longview ISD Board of Trustees Meeting at 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9 in the Longview ISD Boardroom, 1301 E. Young Street, Longview, TX 75601.
District officials will present the 2015-2016 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR), as well as PEIMS Financial Standard Reports, district accreditation status, campus performance objectives, information on violent or criminal incidents, and information received from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) on the performance of the previous year’s graduates in their first year of college.
Later, board members will receive a Financial Audit Report as well as information on financial donations to the district.
Trustees meet in the boardroom of the LISD Education Support Center, 1301 E. Young St. The next regular meeting is tentatively scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 13. A special meeting of board members is set for 11:30 a.m. Jan. 25 at South Ward Elementary.
