Foster earns third-straight trip to TSA nationals

For the third-straight year Foster Middle School students have advanced to the Technology Student Association nationals. Foster will also be nationally recognized for receiving the Chapter Excellence Award for the State of Texas this year.

During the state competition in Waco on April 8-9, Foster's TSA group finished with three 1st place awards, two 2nd place awards, five 3rd place awards, and three 6th place awards to finish 3rd place overall in winning the following team and individual events:

1st place in Prepared Speech: Gowri Rangu
1st place in Chapter Team: Caroline Taylor, Matthew Guck, Otibhor Ihionkhan, Meagan McGuire, Neha Nirmal, Gowri Rangu
1st place in Catapult: Harrison Lin, Jonas Lansford, Ayaan Khan

These students will go on to compete from June 21-25 at the TSA Nationals in Orlando, Florida. Other events finalists include:
