Annual Open Enrollment is quickly approaching for the upcoming school year. This is the only time of year that you will be able to enroll, cancel, or make changes to your medical and supplemental benefits without a qualifying life event. It is mandatory that you call the enrollment hotline or make an appointment to meet with an advisor face to face.
Longview ISD is hosting a benefits fair on Aug. 1st in the LHS coliseum. This is the opportunity to meet with carriers directly and ask questions about the products you wish to sign up for prior to enrolling. We encourage you to attend and become knowledgeable about the products offered by LISD. Please know that enrollment advisors will not be present at the benefits fair. Face to face enrollment will be available at your campus during staff development. You are welcome to call (866) 332-1287 anytime after July 1st to enroll.
Everyone will be required to report the social security number and date of birth for all members of your family (whether waiving or electing coverage) due to ACA reporting requirements.
Enrollment dates for the call center are July 1st through July 26th. Call (866) 332-1287 by July 17th to be entered in a $200 gift card drawing! Call by July 24th to be entered in a $100 gift card drawing! Face to face enrollment with an advisor will be August 1st through August 16th. Specific dates for your campus to follow.
Enrollment this year is mandatory to continue or elect supplemental benefits. Failure to participate in enrollment will result in cancellation of supplemental benefits effective August 31st, 2019. This includes everything with the exception of TRS Activecare.
