School's out, summertime is here, and Longview ISD is hosting various athletic camps to help our young Lobos be the best they can be!
Longview ISD has compiled a list of area sports camps to help keep your students engaged, active, and happy throughout the summer (info about academics camps can be found here):
Strength & Conditioning Camp
Longview High School's Athletic Department is offering a FREE strength and conditioning camp this summer at Lobo Stadium. The camp is set for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, from June 5 to July 27.
Coach John King, LISD Director of Athletics, said all Longview students going into grades 7-12 are encouraged to participate.
"Students need to wear the proper workout attire of shorts, t-shirt, and footwear (cross-trainers and cleats are recommended), and bring along personal hydration," he said. "Everything else is taken care of, all free of charge."
Longview ISD's Food Service Department will provide breakfast and lunch at no cost.

Here are more athletics camps for our young Lobos:
East Texas Tennis Clinic
Dates: 9 individual sessions held throughout May-July (dates are included on the registration form)
Times: Will vary depending on the camp date
Cost - $200-$275 (includes camp shirt)
Location: Lobo Tennis Complex
Camp Information: Each day the camp will cover the mental, technical, and physical aspects of the game with a diverse combination of training drills, fitness, and competition.

Lady Lobo Volleyball All-Skills Camp
Dates: May 30 - June 1 (incoming 3rd-9th)
Times: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. (Registration is at 5:30 p.m.)
Cost: $40 per camper (includes camp shirt)
Location: Forest Park Middle School
Camp Information: Join the Lady Lobo Volleyball team and coaches for this all-skills camp! For questions please contact Coach Chaka Jackson at cjackson@lisd.org. Campers must be registered by May 25 to be guaranteed a camp shirt.

Lobo Basketball Camp
Dates: June 6-8
Times: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. (Kinder - 5th grade)
5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. (6th - 8th grade)
Cost: $60 per camper (includes camp shirt)
$50 per camper for LISD Employees or 2 or more kids (includes camp shirt)
Location: Judson STEAM Academy
Camp Information: Join the LHS Lobo and Lady Lobo coaching staff as they work with students on ball handling, technical skills, and more. For additional information, families may contact Coach Legget (mewatson@lisd.org).

Trent Williams ELITE Football Camp
Date: June 11 (incoming 9th-12th)
Registration time: 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Cost: FREE
Location: Lobo Stadium (registration in turf room)
Band participation will be given to the first 150 players to register on June 11. Participants under 18 years of age MUST have a guardian to sign the participation waiver on site.
Broderick Washington Youth Football Camp
Date: July 8
Time: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Location: Lobo Stadium

Casa Deportiva Cumbre Alta Soccer Camp
Date: June 19-23
Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Cost: $25
Location: Foster Middle School
Camp information: This camp will truly be something special for our Longview ISD students because it is organized by an Ecuadorian Professional soccer team named "Casa Deportiva Cumbre Alta". South American professional soccer players will come to Longview and offer a great soccer camp! This opportunity is for children from 5 - 18 yrs old. Lady Lobo Softball Camp
Date: June 27-29 (June 28 pitchers and catchers ONLY)
Time: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Cost: $40
Location: Lobo Softball Complex
Camp Information: ALL SKILLS DAYS June 27 & 29 6:00pm-8:00pm. $40
PITCHERS AND CATCHERS ONLY on June 28th 6:00pm-8:00pm - $10 with All Skills camp purchase. If you have more than one family member attending the camp, 2nd family member will be $30. Lobo Youth Football Camp
Dates: July 24-26 (incoming 1st -9th)
Times: 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. (Registration 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.)
Cost: FREE
Camp Information: Campers will be given an opportunity to participate in fundamentals, competition, LOBO philosophy, training, and nutritional guidance. Campers will need football cleats, tennis shoes, and athletic clothing. Registration is in the LHS Turf Room.

EDH Special Needs Basketball Camp
Date: June 17
Time: 9 a.m. - noon
Cost: $25 (breakfast and lunch included)
Location: Trinity School of Texas

KC Athletics Camps
Kilgore College will host several summer camps for children and youth beginning in June. Camps include computer science, basketball, football, softball, music, acting, twirling and dance.
Football Youth Skills Camp:
- When: July 24-28, 2023 (Mon-Fri)
- Where: R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium
- Ages: 7-15
- Check-in & Registration: 7 to 8:30 a.m. Monday, July 24, at the football stadium
- Cost: $125. A $50 application fee is required at time of application and is non-refundable after May 31. Balance is due by registration (Monday, July 24). Cost will include instruction, a souvenir KC football and a camp certificate.

Stephanie Williams Girls' Basketball Camp:
- When: July 10-13, 2023 (Mon-Thurs)
- Where: Masters Gymnasium (Kilgore campus)
- Ages: 5-17 year-olds
- Cost: $65 per student through June 30. $75 per student after June 30
