School's out for summer and Longview ISD's Summer Child Nutrition Program begins Monday, June 3rd and will continue through Aug. 16th at select locations.
Longview ISD provides, nutritional meals for FREE to all children 18 and under. This is part of a government program provided by the USDA to fill meal gaps for children of low income families. Two meals (breakfast and lunch) are served each weekday at no cost to the families.
All children are welcome to come enjoy breakfast and lunch at any of the locations listed below.
Meals will be provided at the following locations:
- Montessori Academy: June 10 to July 26
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Lunch: 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Bramlette Elementary: June 10 to July 26
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Lunch: 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Everhart Elementary: June 10-28
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Lunch: 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Ware Elementary: June 3 to Aug. 9
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Lunch: 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Forest Park Middle: June 10 to July 26
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Lunch: 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Longview High: June 3 to July 31; Aug. 1-24
Breakfast: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Lunch: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be no summer feeding the week of Independence Day (July 1-5). Food will be provided on all other dates listed.
