Longview High School has been named the winner of the 2024 Most Driven Team Award by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football in partnership with Higginbotham Insurance & Financial Services. This prestigious honor, awarded to a Texas high school football program that exemplifies dedication, perseverance, and team spirit, comes with a $10,000 donation to support the school’s athletic program.
Throughout the season, ten outstanding programs were selected as finalists and spotlighted at games across the state. Each finalist also featured a Most Driven Scholar Athlete, recognizing a student-athlete for their leadership on and off the field. Longview High School senior Kieffer Doxey received this honor and was awarded $1,000 in tuition assistance for his academic excellence and character.
The winner was ultimately determined by fan voting on TexasFootball.com, where Longview ISD’s passionate community rallied behind their Lobos to secure the title. The school was officially presented with the $10,000 award during a special ceremony at Longview’s National Signing Day event, where students, coaches, faculty, and community members celebrated the achievement.
