Lobo athletes, coaches selected for all-star game

Longview High School players, cheerleaders, and coaches have been named to the 2017 Heart of a Champion All-Star teams

Football standouts Cameron Quinney, Kendrevian White, Ahmad Farrier, D'Crayvan Polk, Kendall Starling, Ke'Undre Wilson, and Traveion Webster will play in the Chick-fil-A Heart of Champion All-Star Bowl Game 6:30 p.m. June 10 at Lobo Stadium, with LHS Athletic Director John King as a member of the coaching staff.

Leading the cheers are seniors Daija Garrett, Kaylee Jimmerson, Lucy Castillo, and Matayia Jones.

Also on the staff will be Lobo head baseball coach Wesley Dorsett, who is assisting with the Heart of a Champion baseball series 7 p.m. Friday, June 9 at UT Tyler's Irwin Field.
