Longview middle and high school students are eligible for a free physical examination coming in April.

Athletic Director John King said the physicals will be held Wednesday, April 17 at Longview High School, and the only 'cost' for admission is their completed paperwork.

Forms must be completed and returned to coach or athletic trainers. Completed paperwork is the only 'admission fee' required of students.

Middle school students will be provided transportation to and from the high school on April 17, King said, but this is one-time opportunity. In addition, several Longview-area doctors are donating their time in order to provide this service to LISD students free of charge.

'(April 17) will be the only free physical examination provided to our students so we urge you to take advantage of this opportunity,' he said.
