Foster Math/Science team finishes second in Regionals

Foster Middle School's Math & Science team placed 2nd at Regionals with 3874.5 points, only 42 points behind Hallsville's 3917.

'We are proud of everyone who participated and are looking forward to our state meet,' said Deborah Lindeken, 8th Grade Gifted & Talented teacher.

TMSCA State competition is set for April 22.

Lindeken said she and 6th Grade Gifted & Talented teacher Christi Shobert will be meeting Thursday to finalize the state roster/schedule.

'We will provide more details to state qualifiers before students leave for spring break,' she said. 'Due to the upcoming spring break, there will be no after school practices on Tuesday or Thursday this week.'
