Band earns Solo & Ensemble honors, advances to State

Members of the Lobo band participated in their annual UIL solo and Ensemble contest on Saturday, Feb. 4. Of the members participating, Longview brought home a record 76 medals from the contest.

45 members playing selections from the Texas UIL prescribed music list are eligible to advance to the state solo and ensemble contest held on the campus of The University of Texas in Austin in May.
