Longview High School's production of "Guys & Dolls" has been nominated for multiple awards at the prestigious Broadway Dallas High School Musical Theatre Awards.
The event, now in its 12th year, will take place on Saturday, June 3rd, at the Musical Hall in Fair Park.
Set to start at 7:30 pm in Musical Hall at historic Fair Park, Longview High School will join the other nominated schools in performing live musical numbers from their shows.
Longview High School's production of "Guys & Dolls" has garnered attention in multiple categories, including Outstanding Ensemble and Outstanding Supporting Performer for Evan Bowman.
Celebrating the talent and dedication of high school students across Texas, this year a total of 72 schools have been nominated, and each school will perform live musical numbers from their respective shows during the ceremony.
The awards not only provide a platform for high school theater programs to showcase their talents but also offer significant opportunities for aspiring young performers. The Broadway Dallas High School Musical Theatre Awards will be awarding a total of $65,000 in scholarships during the event, providing deserving students with the means to further pursue their passion for theater.
