Longview ISD and Gearbox Entertainment are pleased to invite you to the Lobo Game Fest on Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Foster Middle School (1504 MLK Jr. Blvd, Longview).

This event is a celebration of the gaming industry and the creative talents of Longview ISD students. Whether you're a hardcore gamer, a casual player, or simply curious about the gaming industry, this festival has something for everyone. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive valuable information from a collegiate student panel featuring students from nationally recognized gaming programs such as Texas A&M and Prairie View A&M.

For those interested in learning more about the gaming industry, breakout sessions will feature industry experts discussing career opportunities and networking with fellow gamers.

Lobo Game Fest will feature a range of activities such as a vendor hall with the latest gaming gear, collectibles, and merchandise, as well as a Hall of Gamers showcasing some of the most impressive games by independent game studios.

There will also be a silent disco and sensory safe space for attendees to relax and take a break, a cosplay contest with prizes for 1st and 2nd place, and a student showcase where students will present their gaming projects and creations.

Attendees can also participate in the Guilty Gear Strive Tournament for a chance to win the first-place prize of $1,500, or the Smash Bros Tournament for elementary students, where the first 50 Longview ISD elementary students to register on-site will be able to play for a $150 GameStop gift card.

Longview ISD encourages attendees to register on-site for the Guilty Gear Strive Tournament, as there are only 10 spots left. Additionally, for those who would like to purchase a Lobo Gaming shirt, they can order one at skullz.com/collections/lobo-gaming

This event promises to be one-of-a-kind for our area and an unforgettable experience! We hope to see you there!
