The firm hired by Longview ISD to lead the search for a new superintendent invites the community to provide input through an upcoming town hall meeting and online survey.

JG Consulting, a Georgetown-based education leadership search firm, will host a Community Town Hall Meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at the Broughton Recreation Center (801 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Longview). The meeting will allow the firm to gather feedback from parents, staff, students, and residents on desired qualities for Longview ISD's next superintendent.

For those unable to attend the town hall, JG Consulting has provided these online survey links:

"We are very pleased to have chosen JG Consulting to lead this critical process after thoroughly reviewing multiple firms," said Board President Michael Tubb. "Their extensive experience with superintendent searches statewide gives us confidence they will help identify exceptional candidates aligned with the community's priorities."

The community is encouraged to share their input by attending the March 19 town hall meeting or completing the online survey. For more information, visit LISD.org/district/leadership/2024-supt
