Longview Independent School District is an award-winning public 6A school district based in Longview, Texas. In addition to serving the greater Longview area, the district serves the city of Lakeport, most of Easton, and rural areas in eastern Gregg County.

  • Tickets on sale Tuesday for Lufkin game

    Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Dec. 5 for the Lobos' state quarterfinal playoff game against the Lufkin Panthers. Athletic Director John King said tickets will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday–Thursday and 8 a.m. to Noon on Friday at the Athletic Department offices. Pre-game ticket prices are $4 for students and $7 for adults and $10 at the stadium.

    Once again Longview ISD has earned the highest grade of "superior" in State Financial Accountability Ratings released this month. District officials will host a public meeting to discuss the ratings 6:30 p.m. Dec. 11 in the Longview ISD administration building, 1301 East Young Street.
