One-Act Play advances to Bi-District, four Lobos honored

Longview High School theatre students advanced to the Bi-District round with the top overall score during the UIL District 11-6A One-Act Play Competition March 7th at the Mickey Melton Center.

The students performed "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" written by Ken Kesey.

Adam Jones was named All-Star Cast, with Noah Williams receiving All Star Cast Honorable Mention and Ainsley Polk receving Outstanding Tech honors.

Bi-district performances are set for March 23 at the Melton Center.

Cast and Crew members include: Matthew Hanson, Chandler Fry, Ethan Jones, Jaz'lyn Lewis, Kasey Whitenack, Roy Williams, Nick Smith, D'Keriyan Alexander, Adam Jones, Aslan Hilliard, Noah Williams, Tayseer Ali, Angelo Niyonzima, Carmen Vermillion, Kaylee Raymer, Ainsley Polk, Deborah Cortez, Ellie Duvall, Monserrat Gallegos, and Carolina Olivas, with alternates Fowler Ficke, Abigail Fletcher, Zoe Kelt, and Rebecca Olson.

LHS One-Act Play is under the direction of Pam Mercer McWilliams and Josh Graves.
