Foster Middle students helping Louisiana flood victims
Choir students at Foster Middle School are looking for pledges to help children whose schools were damaged or destroyed in the recent floods.
Louisiana Department of Education says that 24 school districts were affected by the floods.
Foster Middle School students will be asking for pledges from now until their Sing-A-Thon on Sept. 28 at the school. Any other donations will also be accepted.
The Sing-A-Thon will feature a medley of 18 songs sung in 20 minutes including “God Bless America”, “Jingle Bells”, “We Are The World” and more. Their goal is to raise $800 that they will request be used for educational purposes.
