Four Longview students showed their commitment to excellence as they received their diplomas, graduating from Longview Early Graduation High School.

During the Longview ISD trustees regular meeting Monday, Oct. 14th, the graduates were recognized by Principal Kristi Means. Means praised the graduates for their achievement, exhorting them to continue to rise above adversity to achieve success in life.

"Generation Z graduates, though you sometimes have a bad rap, there are many attributes you will bring to the table," she said. "No matter what your predecessors say, you have been equipped to take over the world, go forth and do great things; we're all counting on you."

Means added that the students are only bound by the limits of their imaginations, and their willingness to work and achieve their ambitions.

"The dream is free, but the hustle is sold separately," she added.
