Duke University honors seven Foster scholars

The Foster students are among the top 25 percent of Duke University’s annual 16-state talent search.

The Duke recognized students pictured below are (left-to-right): Sarah Rectenwald, Bhavna Singh, Simran Kortikere, Abigail Archer, Robert Hough, Connor Gilliland and Jacob Castleberry.

The Duke University Talent Identification Program (Duke TIP) 7th Grade Talent Search is the largest program of its kind in the nation. It identifies academically talented seventh-graders based on standardized test scores achieved while attending elementary or middle school. Candidates are invited to take the ACT or the SAT college entrance exam as 7th graders.
