Foster Middle School's Math & Science team finished in the top 15 percent at the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association meet on Saturday, April 27, in San Antonio, with two students placing in the top 10 in individual competitions.

"Our Foster team did very well this year, especially taking into considering the changes that impacted our preparation time," said Christi Shobert, 6th grade math teacher and lead coach for the program who coaches all grade levels in number sense, calculator and general math. "I want to acknowledge the students’, parents’ and coaches’ diligence and commitment to this program. It is my pleasure to work with the entire team."

The Foster TMSCA ranked 11th overall out of 75 schools in Class 6A (the largest classification in the state of Texas).
